How It All Started

Getting Jake to do his homework was a daily struggle. His displeasure with math and reading comprehension left him drained, distracted, and uninterested. I know that Jake is a smart boy. He’s got a lot of potential. But chasing a kid around the house every night was pure chaos.

As a parent, I felt defeated. I found myself asking, “How do I get my kid more involved in his schoolwork?” I must’ve asked myself that question for weeks until someone recommended that I take Jake to Huntington Learning Center for an Academic Evaluation. This helped pinpoint Jake’s strengths and weaknesses. A lesson plan was tailored to help Jake achieve his goals.

Within a few weeks, my entire family has noticed a positive change in Jake. He completes his math lessons unassisted. His spelling has improved and he’s absorbing what he reads.

Congratulations Jake! You’re the Student of the Month!!!

My Honest Opinion

Huntington’s approach to learning works. They understand that all children learn differently and at their own pace. The staff is helpful and is always available to answer your questions. Huntington has been a huge benefit to Jake.  His grades and even more importantly, his confidence has improved tremendously.  They’re involved with Jake’s development. They communicate with Jake’s teachers and even participated in my son's IEP meetings. I’m very fortunate and appreciative for all their help.
